Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Charles Martinez, I am a content creator, award winner filmmaker and a creative producer originally from Venezuela, based in Miami, FL. Based in the US since 2015, I have produced two feature fiction films "American thief" directed by Miguel Silveira and "Translúcido" written and directed by Leonard Zelig, both filmed in NYC and worked as cameraman with Oscar’s winners Oliver Stone and Anthony Dod Mantle in the documentary series “The Putin Interviews” for Showtime. From 2012 to 2018 I worked as Creative and Operation Director committed to devise and develop advertising campaigns and audiovisual projects for GFC Consultores in Venezuela and USA. With my production house Cinema Lab co-founded with my long time creative partner and friend DP and Post producer Vladimir Sosnowski, I have made multiple music videos, several documentary works, such as the features "Conquering the fort" (Conquistando el fuerte) and "Machera: A Robin Hood from Merida" (Machera, El Robin Ju de Mérida) and also fiction shorts such as “Almost a Miracle" (Casi un milagro) and “The Smell of Oranges" (El Olor de las Naranjas). I am the creator-producer of the series of suspense programs "Stories of the Here and Now” (Historias del Más Acá) and associate creative producer of documentaries "MTV: Rebel Music Venezuela", “Moving Pictures”, "Adrift" (A la deriva) and the multi awarded "The Silence of the Flies” (El Silencio de las Moscas). In 2019 and 2020 I worked in A Piece of Oz, the personal brand of my muse Olatz Zanguitu, Reinvención 2020 with Roberto Manrique and JAPi The Happiness Bootcamp along with Roberto Manrique, Giancarlo Molero and Andres Seminario. Since Mid 2020 I’ve been working as Content Director for VEO Creative Studio developing @allofpan for P.A.N. Global among other projects and I’m currently developing the docuseries “A Part of Healing” with Hopi Noel Morton and School of Love.
